The Poetry SLAM is a culmination of 10 weeks of hard work by our Miami SCORES poet-athletes, which will feature a boys’ and a girls’ group poem and four total individual performances from poet-athletes from each partner school. Adding to the excitement, special guests from the Miami community will join us as judges, ready to inspire, uplift, and celebrate every voice on stage!

Our 2025 Community Poetry Slam occurred on December 5, 2025, at Miami Jackson Senior High School. We had the pleasure of hosting some incredible guests and judges.
